On behalf of Kaveri Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (KARM) and St.
John’s Medical College & Hospital we extend a very warm welcome to all
participants of the IAPMR Midterm CME 2021.
Considering the restrictions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic the CME
will be a virtual event. The Organizing Committee has strived to make the
content and theme of this conference relevant and contemporary to the
prevailing conditions.
The pandemic has posed many challenges and has caused us to reflect on the
ways we practice. We have all risen to the challenge and have taken up new
roles as rehabilitation professionals.
We look forward to greeting you virtually and hope that all of you will have
plenty of opportunity to share knowledge, consolidate friendships and build
long-lasting memory during this meeting.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The Abstract should be structured under the following headings-
1. The acceptable word range for the abstract is 175-275 words. The abstract which does not meet this word limit will be sent back to author(s) to be revised.
2. Please follow the abstract template. If the abstract template is not followed as it is, you will be asked for revisions

3. Your submission should be in English.
4. It is mandatory to get registered for the conference to submit the abstract.
5. Do not send hard copy.
6. After successful submission, receipt acknowledging the abstract will be sent via an email within three working days.
Poster Abstract Submission format-
• Should include the following
o Title
o Authors along with co authors
o Introduction
o Setting
o Material and methods
o Results
o Conclusion
• Please do not include tables, graphs and images in the abstract.
• Text in Times New Roman font & size 12
• Abstract should not exceed 300 words
• Please submit a word file (.docx)
E-Poster Specifications
• E-poster has to be prepared in Microsoft Power point format consisting of maximum 3 slides
• No jpeg/png format
• Should include the following
o Title
o Introduction
o Material and Methods
o Results
o Conclusion
o References (maximum 3 can be provided)
• Can include text, figures, tables and images but NO video/animations.
• It will be a live presentation.
• Duration of presentation is 3 min followed by 2 min discussion.

Register for the Mid Term CME is mandatory.

Once selected, you will receive intimation, following which please send the power point presentation to iapmrmidtermsjmch2021@gmail.com
Please mention your complete name, designation and affiliation, mobile number and email id in the mail.
The Scientific Committee has the right to accept or reject any presentation after peer review.
1. The Quiz is open to post-graduates and senior residents.
2. The team consists of 2 members. Out of 2, maximum one senior resident is allowed in each team
3. The quiz will be conducted with two rounds - Preliminary round and final round
4. The preliminary round will be conducted online, with a link sent to the registered candidates. Four teams with the quickest and most correct responses will be selected for the final round
5. Detailed rules of each round shall be announced before quiz.
6. Cash prize and certificates shall be awarded to winning team.
7. Please give your entries before 20th
September 2021. You can email/WhatsApp your participation to iapmrmidtermsjmch2021@gmail.com/8971220950 (Dr Ria) with the SUBJECT:” REGISTRATION FOR QUIZ”. Please send details of team members and college/institution name.
8. No spot registration.
9. Preliminary round of quiz shall be conducted on 24th September 2021 at 7.00 pm. Final round on 25h September 2021 at 5.00 pm
10. Questions will be based on standard PMR textbooks and CME Theme.
11. Registration for the CME is mandatory.
12. Decision of jury will be final.
13. Organisers are having complete authority to change rounds or rules of quiz.
